Your Events Committee has been as busy as Santa’s Elves preparing for a fun Holiday Season at Cinnamon Lake.

BOO! Trunk or Treat is Oct. 25^th from 3:00 until 5:00.  Along with trunks full of goodies, Black River Schools is bringing their haunted school bus, Smitty will be giving hayrides and the good witch is holding another Treasure Hunt.  We are also having a costume contest. Judging will be by age group. Then, a potluck family Halloween Party at 6:00 p.m.  Bring a dish... fun provided!

We are kicking off November with our monthly Events Committee meeting on the 5th of November at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center.

November’s special events will be the Holiday Craft Show on the 15^th at the Lodge from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This popular event will find the Lodge filled with holiday crafts and goodies. Get ready for your holidays with handcrafted items created by local artists. We’ll also have Chuy’s Tacos food truck on site for a delicious meal.

Our annual Community Thanksgiving meal is on the 23rd at 1:00 pm where you’ll find good food and fellowship. All are welcome. There is no charge. Santa's elves are providing the meal (although donations are always accepted).

We are hosting what is always a fun time on the 29th with a potluck party for the OSU/Michigan game. Decoration of the Lodge will be on the night before, Friday the 28^th. (Time to follow). So, whether you are team “Go Blue” or team “Go Bucks” - bring a dish and come to the Lodge and join the party. Kick-off is at noon. Doors will be open at 11:00 am.

Finally – looking towards December, we’ll be decorating the Lodge for Christmas the first week of December. Your help is always appreciated!  Times and dates to follow.

Our annual Christmas Party is December 13^th!  Fun for the kiddies of all ages.  Save the date - Santa will be anxiously waiting to see you. ALSO - we are still looking for our Santa. If you are available for a couple hours, please contact the Events Committee at the email address below.  

Each month as usual, there will be our regular monthly Bingo on the second Friday and Euchre on the fourth Friday, as well as weekly Yoga on Mondays (6:15 chair yoga, 7:00 mat yoga) and Morning Mug every Thursday at 10:00.

Morning Mug started a year ago as a way for seniors to get out of the house during the winter months, but over the past year it has become more than an excuse to get out of the house. It is a weekly gathering of friends. The relationships that have developed this past year are special. But Morning Mug is missing one thing: YOU! Join us at 10:00 a.m. each Thursday in the Lodge.

Fall is in the air and the Events Committee is ready!!  BINGO returns on September 5th.  Always a good time.   We are currently accepting registrations for the Holiday Craft Fair in November.  Pick yours up at the office.

As usual, check out Yoga or Volleyball on Monday evenings, Mug Club on Thursday mornings, and Euchre on the fourth Fridays.  Check the calendar for details.
