2025 Member Survey – Victor provided members of the survey presentation. After a discussion of some of the data, the Committee determined we will do the presentation at the next Coffee & Conversation meeting which is scheduled for Sunday, September 7 at 2:00 pm.
Document Archiving – Tim F. updated the Committee on the project. Sections 1 and 2 of the Members folders have been completed. He expects to complete Section 3 next week. He will then move on to Section 4.
New Business
The committee agreed to establish a LRP Committee e-mail for communicating with the Board, the Membership and other entities.
Tim F. raised the question of “how will the recent changes in CLA staffing and an external management company impact LRP planning?” After a discussion the Committee determined that there should not be any significant impact but we should monitor return to the issue if necessary.
Wendessa raised the issue of Association funding of speculation homes. A brief discussion ensued about funding sources and possibly non-financial support. Support for additional dock was also included in the discussion. This echoes a study done by the Committee in 2020. No decisions were made but we will revisit the topic at future meetings.
Wendessa also wants to post training/educational videos on our website. These would be topics pertinent to our membership.
Wendessa asked if there is a list of Association properties for sale that can be included on the website. The list exists as part of the “Lots for Sale” document. During the discussion, it was noted that the current version is a static document. It would be more useful could be made into a dynamic document with photos and links.
